Just recently released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, it didn’t take too long for Allen Hurns to find a new job. Having gone through a free agent tour this week, Hurns now tells ESPN’s Josina Anderson that he is going to sign with the Dallas Cowboys.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes that it’s a two-year deal.
Cowboys signing another WR, this time former Jaguars’ WR Allen Hurns to a two-year deal, per sources.

Hurns, 26, is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him catch just 39 passes for 484 yards with two touchdowns in 10 games. He’s a couple years removed from putting up 64 receptions for 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns for the Jaguars back in 2015.
The expectation here is that Hurns will take over as the Cowboys’ No. 2 wide receiver behind Dez Bryant. Of course, that’s dependent on Bryant himself actually returning to Dallas next season. This also comes on the heels of Dallas adding fellow free agent receiver Deonte Thompson on a one-year contract earlier in the week.
