After getting shafted by Josh McDaniels, the Indianapolis Colts reportedly have another favorite to land the job as next head coach. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter are reporting Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Frank Reich is that guy.
From @AdamSchefter and me: Eagles OC Frank Reich has emerged as the favorite to become the next head coach of the @Colts but a contract understandably has to be fully executed after the Josh McDaniels experience, per league sources.

Reich is obviously a hot commodity after helping the Eagles win Super Bowl LII. His influence is a big reason why Nick Foles was able to come in off the bench and find a comfort zone, along with a historically significant run, in the postseason.
A former NFL quarterback, Reich has been coaching in the league since 2008 when he became an offensive assistant with the Colts. So, he’s essentially returning home to where it all started on this journey. He’ll be a tremendous resource for Andrew Luck, who is reportedly going to be healthy at the start of camp.
