Not only is Utah Jazz rookie Donovan Mitchell excelling on the court in his first NBA season, he’s doing the people’s work off the court. In fact, Mitchell is out here helping a high school student get that date with the girl of his dreams.

The teenager legitimately slid into Mitchell’s direct messages to ask for two tickets to a Jazz game so he could take a girl from his chemistry class out on a date. Mitchell obliged. The two will now head on their first date Saturday night when the Utah hosts the Dallas Mavericks.
Talk about a kid shooting his shot, and Mitchell coming through big time in the clutch. This is all sorts of well done.
Now, let’s just hope there’s nothing to see on the kiss cam inside the Vivint Smart Home Arena. After all, the girl’s father will be keeping a keen on her perspective suitor.
