Kansas City Chiefs fans were stunned when the team orchestrated a trade to send cornerback Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams. Now more details have emerged on the trade and Chiefs fans are not liking what they are finding out.
Here is what the Chiefs are receiving from the Rams for Peterson. Keep in mind the Chiefs are also sending their 2018 sixth-round pick to Los Angeles.
The #Chiefs traded CB Marcus Peters to the #Rams for a 2018 fourth round pick and a 2019 2nd round pick, sources say. The deal can’t be official until the league year begins.

Here is a little more fuel to add to the fire.
On the #Chiefs & Marcus Peters: Best described as a mutual parting. Both sides came away in a good place. KC knew they would deal him for 2 months, took the best deal with a limited market that barely included 2 teams (not #Browns or #Colts, despite their execs drafting him)

Not surprisingly, there are some some angry reactions from Chiefs fans who feel their team got the shaft.

Unless Marcus Peters was getting "loaded" during games and fighting coaches and players in the locker room this trade makes no sense. If the Chiefs have dirt on Peters the time to release it is now.

Peters must've told the #Chiefs he wasn't going to play in KC ever again, because they got absolutely worked over in this "trade."

In no way did the Chiefs "do well". Just because you were asking for 30 cents on the dollar and ended up getting maybe 32 cents on the dollar does not mean you 'did pretty well here'. https://t.co/Yf70tBBpFM

WHY DIDN'T THE @Patriots OFFER PICK #40 TO THE CHIEFS FOR MARCUS PETERS? #Patriots #Chiefs

It's official – the Chiefs' trade of Marcus Peters is one of the worst deals in NFL history. I was maintaining an open mind until compensation figures were released. My mind is officially closed. #HistoricallyBad #Infuriated #ChiefsKingdom
