Report: Rob Gronkowski ‘went full tilt’ past two days in practice

New England Patriots tight end extraordinaire Rob Gronkowski is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol, but all signs are pointing to him being available for Super Bowl LII.

On Monday, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald shared this encouraging bit of information on Twitter:

This new report falls in line with everything we’ve been hearing about Gronk since he returned to practice on Saturday. On Sunday, he told reporters he was “feeling well,” and the Patriots have been optimistic he’ll be able to play in Super Bowl LII since early last week.

Certainly, New England would love to have Gronkowski in the lineup. He was Tom Brady’s favorite target this past year, hauling in 69 passes for 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s also a matchup nightmare who opens up the entire passing offense for everyone else.
