Giants’ Brandon Marshall says NFL should be ashamed of Patriots’ success

Despite being a six-time Pro Bowler, New York Giants wide receiver Brandon Marshall has yet to appear in a single playoff game during his 12 year career. He’s obviously none too happy about this.

Perhaps this is why he decided to go an epic rant about the New England Patriots once again making their way to another Super Bowl.

“The league is not competitive. We all should be ashamed. Even you guys that’s been covering them on TV should be ashamed,” Marshall exclaimed on a radio guest spot, per Shalise Manza Young of Yahoo Sports.”

Though, Marshall did not stop there. The rant continued.

“Players should be ashamed, coaches should be ashamed, owners should be ashamed. How do we let these guys do this year in and year out?,” Marshall shouted.”

Marshall then addressed the Patriots’ organization.

“Congratulations, you guys are phenomenal, you guys are great can’t get any better. But how do 31 other organizations let this happen?

Tell us how you really feel, Brandon. Nobody lets the Patriots do anything. They are a tough team to outplay and out-coach as proven by Tom Brady and Bill Belichick making their eighth appearance in a Super Bowl together.

But, we can see why Marshall is feeling salty. He has played on five teams that failed to make the postseason on his watch. Marshall also had his 2017 season cut short due to an ankle injury in Week 5.

He chose to sign with the Giants so he could “finish his career as a winner.” Well, that certainly did not happen this year. But, Marshall said he wants to play in 2018, so his time to make it to the playoffs — much less a Super Bowl game — is winding down.

Coincidentally enough, Marshall’s Giants are the only team that has managed to beat Brady and the Patriots in a Super Bowl (twice).
