Bucks reportedly fire head coach Jason Kidd

In what has to be considered one of the most-shocking stories of the NBA season, the Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly fired head coach Jason Kidd.

This comes out of absolutely nowhere and with Kidd’s now former Bucks team currently as the eighth seed back east. Sure the Bucks have struggled with consistency thus far on the season, but that doesn’t make Kidd’s firing any less shocking.

Here’s a squad that has earned a playoff spot in two of the past three seasons under Kidd. Prior to his arrival in Milwaukee back in 2014, this franchise had earned two postseason spots in eight years.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski goes on to report that assistant coach Joe Prunty will take over on an interim basis and coach the Bucks Monday night against the Phoenix Suns.

There has to be more to this story. And once more information does break, we will have it for you right here.

Kidd ends his three-plus years in Milwaukee with a 139-152 record.
