The Buffalo Bills will look to keep their playoff aspirations alive at home Sunday against the last-place Indianapolis Colts. They’ll do so with rookie Nathan Peterman under center. Considering Peteramn threw five interceptions in the first half of his only start this season, this is a less-than-ideal scenario
Now, when we take into account the weather in Western New York Sunday afternoon, this is taken to an entirely new level.
Just check out the scene at New Era Field immediately prior to kickoff. It’s absolutely insane.
Evidently I brought the snow with me to Buffalo from the @ArmyNavyGame. This is wild. pic.twitter.com/Zs6sIUfzyL

We can talk about the field being draped in snow from end zone to end zone. That’s crazy enough. But just prior to the 1:00 pm ET kickoff, the lights still had to be on. That takes this to an entirely new level.
Here are some other views from the scene. Again, it’s crazy stuff.

Buffalo is most definitely known for its winter weather. But this takes everything to a whole other level. According to a public alert in the area, the expectation is that Buffalo will see lake effect snow.
Have fun, Peterman and the Bills.
