From playing with a winless Cleveland Browns to this year’s reigning Super Bowl champions, wide receiver Kenny Britt has been signed by the New England Patriots.
Britt was released by the NFL’s basement team only to land in one of the league’s penthouse suites. Obviously, the 29-year-old receiver now instantly inherits a better-than-average chance of making it to his first Super Bowl.
Of course, the Twitter-verse has gone wild with a vast array of reactions.
Wow. From the 0-13 Browns to the Pats. #KennyBritt must be smiling from ear to ear. pic.twitter.com/Xp6fY06txe

Kenny Britt is 0-12 this season and YET will go to playoffs. Great pickup by the #Patriots. Yet ANOTHER speedy slot receiver.

Pats just trying to get in on that feeling that every fantasy owner has had of being disappointed by Kenny Britt

Typical Patriots overreaction. Lose one game and go sign Kenny Britt… hmm. When will they ever learn?

As we can see through the eyes of football fans, Britt will either be this year’s Super Bowl MVP, or a complete nobody.
It should be interesting to see if playing with a future Hall of Fame quarterback brings out the best of Britt.
