James Harrison is the newest member of the New England Patriots after signing a one-year deal with the reigning champs on Tuesday. After inking the new contract, the 39-year-old pass rusher posted a picture of himself posing with Tom Brady in New England’s locker room, cracking a joke at the GOAT’s expense.
“Finally…a teammate that’s older than me!”
Harrison and Brady — the oldest players on offense and defense in the NFL — are now joined at the hip. The Patriots are banged up on their defensive front, and Harrison is very rested after hardly being used this year by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speaking of the Steelers, we have an inkling that Harrison will have a chance to get some revenge against his former team sometime in January. The AFC playoffs should be a blast.
