Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse really did have good intentions when he picked up a fumble in the fourth quarter and ran.
It just didn’t quite work out the way he envisioned it would in his mind’s eye.
Ndamukong Suh strip-sacked Derek Carr, and Newhouse scooped up the ball. He should have just fallen on it. But alas, he had bigger things on his mind. The fat man did run, and then the fat man did fly. It turned into two fumbles on one play for Oakland, and Miami came up with the second loose ball.
One Play.

This was a comedy of errors that Twitter had some funny reactions to.

Marshall Newhouse had visions of the most amazing fat guy touchdown ever. That ended quickly.

It really was a valiant effort. It just didn’t work out too well for the big fella.
