In some horrible and downright disastrous NFL news, the Houston Texans now fear that star rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a torn ACL in practice on Thursday.
Sources: #Texans QB fear Deshaun Watson suffered a torn ACL in practice today. A non-contact injury. MRI coming to confirm. Awful, awful.

Watson had previously been added to the injury report, but was said to be practicing on a limited basis. How that turned into a potential torn ACL is not yet known.
Needless to say, this would be a major bummer for both Watson and his Houston Texans. Here’s a guy that was in the midst of a history-breaking season. He’s also coming off a 400-yard, four touchdown performance against the Seattle Seahawks.
We’ll definitely have further updates when they become available.
Update:
Watson will undergo season-ending surgery. Texans averaging 34 points in his six starts and 39 in last 5 games. Savage starts against Colts.
