After having their appeals heard by James Thrash and Derrick Brooks on Tuesday, Oakland Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree and Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib’s suspensions were reduced from two games to one, per EPSN’s Adam Schefter.

NFL also reduced Aqib Talib’s two-game suspension to one game, per source. So both players will serve one game.

This suspension, of course, stems from the fight Crabtree had with Talib on Sunday in Oakland. The fight was preceded by a sucker-punch from Crabtree to Chris Harris Jr.
However, the actual fight itself occurred when Crabtree blocked Talib into the sideline, the corner ripped off Crabtree’s chain for the second season in a row and sparked the fisticuffs.
The NFL said Monday that the two-game bans were utilized to “get their attention.” We assume that message has been sent.
