Josh Gordon is going to be activated for the first time in well over a year Sunday when the Cleveland Browns play the Los Angeles Chargers.
Head coach Hue Jackson, who’s recently warmed to Gordon in a big way, said players are very excited to have the receiver and that he has “big plan” for him this weekend.

Perhaps Gordon will help rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer take a big step in the right direction. However, it’ll be up to the offensive line to protect the young passer, and that’s easier said than done against the likes of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram.
If Kizer does have time to throw, then we’d be shocked if Gordon didn’t make a few big plays. He’s in fantastic shape and was one of the league’s most explosive receivers before his drug and alcohol addiction derailed his career. Back in 2013, Gordon led the league with 1,646 yards and caught nine touchdowns.
