Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch came on to the field during the second quarter of his team’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. The idea for Lynch was to stand up for quarterback Derek Carr, who was just on the receiving end of a dirty hit from Chiefs defensive back Marcus Peters.
Unfortunately, it didn’t end there.
Lynch was ejected from the game after shoving an official.

Despite the fact that it looked like Lynch didn’t realize it was an official, you simply can’t do that.
Lynch might not care too much about the $30,000-plus fine he’s set to receive. But it would be an absolute shock if he wasn’t suspended for at least one game. This is unacceptable behavior from any football player, let alone a veteran of Lynch’s ilk.
