The Miami and Florida State game was pretty ho-hum throughout the first half. Florida State took a 3-0 lead into intermission before both team’s offenses exploded in the second half.

Down 20-17 with just six seconds left, quarterback Malik Rosier hit wide receiver Darrell Langham on a fade pattern down the right sideline. After being reviewed, the play stood as a 23-yard game-winning touchdown to push Miami’s record to 4-0 on the season.

The play itself was something special, especially given that Rosier had struggled mightily through the first two-plus quarters of the game.

For their part, the Seminoles dropped to 1-3 on the season following the last-second loss. It’s the first time since 2009 — Bobby Bowden’s final season in Tallahassee — that Florida State has started with three losses in its first four games.
