Sam Bradford looks ready for MNF: ‘Night and day’ compared to last 2 weeks

Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford on Monday Night Football

It’s looking more and more like the Minnesota Vikings will have Sam Bradford when they play against the Chicago Bears on Monday night in Week 5.

On Friday, Bradford said his knee feels “night and day” better compared to the past two weeks.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter, commenting on this, wrote that it’s “trending the right way for Sam Bradford to be able to play Monday night vs Bears.”

The Vikings certainly would love to have Bradford back in the lineup. Barring one spectacular performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Case Keenum has struggled to run Minnesota’s offense. He was decidedly mediocre against both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions, and not surprisingly the Vikings lost both of those games.

Making things worse, the Vikings lost rookie running back Dalvin Cook for the season last week when he tore his ACL.

Needless to say, getting Bradford back would be a boon for Minnesota’s offense. The Vikings enter Week 5 with a record of 2-2.
