The New Orleans Saints have reportedly traded Adrian Peterson to the Arizona Cardinals heading into Week 6 of the season.

This is a logical trade for both sides. Peterson has been the odd man out in New Orleans, where Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram have carried the load. He’s carried the ball just 27 times for 81 yards and no touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals have had no luck running the ball since David Johnson was lost for the season. Arizona ranks dead last in rushing yards and has averaged just 2.6 yards per attempt.
If there’s a spot in the league where Peterson can still make a difference, it’s in the desert.
