Myles Garrett hints on Twitter that he’ll play in Week 5

Myles Garrett Cleveland Browns practice

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive end Myles Garrett sent a message out to his Twitter followers on Wednesday that suggests he’ll play in Week 5.

Regresé is a Spanish word that translates to “I am back.”

Garrett has yet to play in an NFL regular season game. He’s been out since injuring his ankle during the preseason, and the Browns have been taking it very slow bringing him back. Garrett practiced for the first time since the injury last week, and it was reported that he’d likely start this Sunday when the Browns host the New York Jets.

The first overall selection of the 2017 NFL Draft, Garrett was highly touted by everyone who covers the draft process. A freakish athlete (watch this) who translates speed to power at an insane level, Garrett has the potential to become one of the best pure defensive ends in the NFL. Staying healthy is obviously part of that, however, and to this point that’s been a struggle.

We highlighted Garrett’s upcoming matchup with New York’s offensive tackles as one of the most important to watch this weekend. Rest assured, we’ll be keeping a close eye on how the rookie performs in his first game.
