The Oakland Raiders are reportedly nearing an extension with Pro Bowl left tackle Donald Penn. According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the extension will be for two more seasons.
#Raiders & LT Donald Penn are closing in on a 2-year extension, sources say. Should be done this week. He showed up, they kept their word.

Remember, Penn held out for a new contract throughout training camp and the vast majority of the preseason. Despite earning a Pro Bowl nod last season, he’s currently playing under a two-year, $11.9 million deal.
There had to be an agreement in place that the two sides would work on a long-term deal once Penn reported to camp earlier this summer. That now looks to be in the cards.
Anchoring one of the league’s best offensive lines, Penn has helped this unit yield just 18 sacks of franchise quarterback Derek Carr over his past 16 starts.
