Rams facing NFL’s biggest attendance drop in a quarter century

When the Los Angeles Rams returned home to Southern California last season, they were the next big thing in Tinseltown. That’s changed a bit with the struggling Chargers joining them to form a two-team city in a region with a ton of entertainment possibilities.

Now, empty seats have become the norm at the Los Angeles Coliseum with the Rams using the college football stadium as its temporary venue.

According to ESPN, the Rams are now facing what would be the biggest drop in attendance around the NFL in a quarter century.

That’s just not good for anyone involved.

Surely attendance would go up if the Rams were to start winning on a consistent basis. But until that happens, the Rams can look forward to their new digs in Inglewood starting in 2020. Until then, we can expect a ton of empty seats in Los Angeles.
