After yet another terrible performance by Roberto Aguayo Friday night, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finally had enough. Saturday morning, the kicker, who was a shocking second-round selection by the club last year, has been cut.
Bucs have released PK Roberto Aguayo.

Aguayo missed the first preseason extra-point attempt following the Bucs first touchdown Friday night, doinking the kick off the right upright (watch here). He then missed a 47-yard attempt, going 1-for-2 on the night — 1-for-3 if you count the extra-point failure.
Last year as a rookie, Aguayo missed two extra points and converted just 71 percent of his field-goal attempts. Nick Folk is still on the roster, but the Bucs might still bring in additional competition to ensure they get the best possible player at this critical position.
