The Chicago Bears’ quarterback situation is all kinds of confusing. General manager Ryan Pace made it clear Wednesday that Mark Sanchez is the backup behind starter Mike Glennon. That obviously leaves rookie Mitch Trubisky as the No. 3 behind Sanchez.

At least this is how things stand for now. The Bears want Trubisky to work on development as he soaks in the pro game behind Glennon and Sanchez.
As sketchy as that sounds, it would not be too surprising to see the Bears experiment with starting all three quarterbacks at various points in the season. If Glennon gets off to a poor start, he could easily get the hook. After all, he sports a 5-13 career record.
Clearly, Sanchez has the experience over Trubisky. But the last time we saw Sanchez under center was when he threw two interceptions in the three partial games he played for the Dallas Cowboys last season.
All things considered, Trubisky could easily manage to move up the food chain. Is anyone missing quarterback Jay Cutler yet?
