Chris Bosh thinking about NBA comeback: ‘Health is great’

Chris Bosh

The Miami Heat recently released Chris Bosh and gave him a beautiful golden parachute in the process, but he’s not ready to throw in the towel on his career just yet.

Bosh was approached by TMZ Sports in Los Angeles Thursday, and he made it clear he’s still mulling over his future.

“Health is great, feeling great,” Bosh said … noting that he’s focusing on being a dad while he figures out his next basketball move.

Bosh was an integral part of the Heat squads that won four straight Eastern Conference Championships (2011-2014), winning  NBA titles in 2012 and 2013.

As fans likely remember, Bosh’s career came to an abrupt halt back in 2015 when he was diagnosed with a blood clot issue in his leg. He continued to attempt a comeback during his tenure with the Heat, and at one point last year he was very frustrated with how Miami was handling things.

The two sides ended up amicably parting ways. But it’s clear Bosh still hasn’t gotten rid of the bug to play. Whether his health allows for that or not remains to be seen. Any potential deal he might strike in the future would likely include incentives and a clause that protects the prospective team from owing him money if his health fails.
