Reports surfaced on Tuesday that the New York Knicks have not ruled out trading young big man Kristaps Porzingis. This set the basketball world ablaze with shock. It also led to increased speculation that the Knicks might simply look to blow everything up.
Carmelo Anthony is firmly on the trade block, but it’s highly unlikely he will bring back a haul that could expedite a potential rebuild.
At the very least, it now looks like the Knicks are asking for a bounty in Porzingis trade talks.
On the Kristaps Porzingis front, one exec who has been in touch with the Knicks describes their asking price as "very aggressive."

We are not exactly sure what that means. Porzingis is considered one of the best young players in the game. At just 21 years old, he averaged 18.1 points and 7.2 rebounds. It was just his second year playing professionally in the United States.
According to Stefan Bondy of the NY Daily News, the Boston Celtics are said to be interested in Porzingis.
The asking price there could be multiple first-round picks, the No. 3 in this year’s draft included. New York would also demand a player from Boston in said deal.
Either way, we can expect a ton of teams to call the Knicks about the availability of Porzingis. It a bidding ward ensues, there’s a chance he could be moved.
