Marshawn Lynch jersey sales tops in NFL for month of May

Can Marshawn Lynch help lead his Raiders to the Super Bowl?

Since Marshawn Lynch signed with the Oakland Raiders in April, people have been flocking in droves to buy his No. 24 jersey. A number he now shares with Raiders legend Charles Woodson.

In fact, according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio (via @Hail_Pitt), nobody sold more jerseys in the month of May than Money Lynch. He topped Tom Brady, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott (No. 2, 3 and 4, respectively) to get to the top of the sales charts.

Also of note was rookie Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner, who was No. 11 on the list. The former Pitt star and cancer survivor is already a hometown hero. He’ll be all the more so if he can work his way onto the final roster at the end of the summer and becomes a viable contributor on game days.

Other notables on the list include Houston Texas rookie Deshaun Watson (No. 5) and former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (No. 17), who remains unemployed.
