Despite boasting a ton of cap room, the Tennessee Titans were relatively quiet at the start of free agency Thursday afternoon. They did bring in former Jacksonville Jaguars safety Johnathan Cyprien on a long-term contract. That soldifies Tennessee’s defense from a run-stopping standpoint in the secondary.
Then, as the afternoon turned to evening, Tennessee made what might be one of the best under-the-radar moves of the day. The team has reportedly signed veteran cornerback Logan Ryan away from the defending champion New England Patriots.
CB Logan Ryan agreed to terms with #Titans, per his agents.

Ryan, 26, has been a mainstay on New England’s defense since being selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He recorded 92 tackles, 11 passes defended and two interceptions in 16 games (13 starts) for the Patriots last season.
Ryan was made expendable when New England went out there and signed Stephon Gilmore to a massive contract earlier on Thursday. That left the door open for Tennessee to pounce on the starting corner.
