Odell Beckham Jr. will have a new running partner with the New York Giants in 2017. According to multiple media reports, the Giants have signed veteran receiver Brandon Marshall to a two-year contract. The deal is said to be worth $12 million.

Marshall, 32, was released by the New York Jets earlier in the offseason after the receiver himself requested to be cut loose. He now doesn’t have to change home stadiums and remains in the same media market. That’s surely going to be interesting, especially when looking at Marshall as an enigmatic figure.
The six-time Pro Bowler had a down 2016 campaign, putting up just 59 receptions for 788 yards and three touchdowns. It was only the third time in his 11-year career that Marshall has failed to reach the 1,000-yard plateau.
Though, a lot of that could be contributed to the Jets’ disastrous quarterback play. Marshall is just one season removed from tallying 1,502 yards and a league-leading 14 receiving touchdowns. He should work just fine with Eli Manning.
