WATCH: Micah Hyde picks off Dak Prescott on screen pass

Dak Prescott made a critical error in the third quarter as the Dallas Cowboys trailed the Green Bay Packers, 28-13, and Micah Hyde was happy to take advantage.

The rookie passer out of Mississippi State telegraphed a screen pass to Cole Beasley, and Hyde read the play like a book.

This ended a promising drive by Dallas that was into the red zone. Instead of cutting into the lead, the Cowboys watched Aaron Rodgers and Co. take the field again after they engineered a magnificent touchdown-scoring drive to open the second half.

It wasn’t an ideal start to the second half after the Cowboys scratched and clawed their way back to make it an eight-point game heading into halftime. But right as the Packers moved into Dallas’ end of the field, Jeff Heath picked off Rodgers to keep the Packers from opening up a bigger lead.
