Stop us if you’ve heard this before. Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles threw an interception Sunday against the Denver Broncos. It was returned 51 yards by Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby for a touchdown.
It was bad. Really, bad.

This represents Bortles’ second interception of the game and his league high 15th on the season. He’s now had 11 interceptions returned for a touchdown in his career.
Needless to say, Bortles isn’t doing himself any favors here. Remember, he led the entire NFL in interceptions last season with 18 and has now thrown a whopping 50 in 41 career starts.
Should the Jags lose on Sunday, they’ll be 2-10 on the season and in the midst of a seven-game losing streak. Bortles himself is one of the primary reasons for their widespread struggles on the season.
Sunday’s pick-six is just another example of this.
