In a clear sign that the San Diego Chargers have two games remaining in their home city before relocating to Los Angeles, NFL owners took a major step in the process of the Chargers joining the Rams in Inglewood.
According to Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole owner passed both the lease agreement between the Chargers and Rams as well as a debt waiver for the Chargers to help pay for half their relocation fee.

This is just the latest step in a process that seems to be pointing to the Chargers moving a bit further north in California. Remember, back in November San Diego voters shot down a ballot initiative that would have provided public financing for a new stadium in that city.
Short of that vote passing, it was readily apparent that the Chargers would exercise their league-mandated option to join the Rams in Inglewood. Despite Chargers owner Dean Spanos indicating that nothing is etched in stone, this seems to be imminent at this point.
