Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is reportedly believed to have suffered a torn labrum during Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.
#Bears QB Jay Cutler believed to have a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder, per @MikeGarafolo & me. He's hoping 2nd opinions say different

If a second opinion determines that Cutler does have a torn labrum, then reports he’ll miss the rest of the season with the shoulder injury will prove true.
The 2016 season has been a frustrating one for Cutler and the Bears. After he had one of his best seasons as a pro in 2015, he’s struggled to produce when healthy and has now suffered two injuries that will cost him games.
The Bears’ locker room has reportedly lost confidence in Cutler as well, adding insult to injury. There is almost no chance he will stay in Chicago after this year, and there are reports the team is looking into at least one college quarterback that would potentially be Cutler’s replacement.
Chicago has won just two games all year. It sits at 2-8 with six games left to play. The way things have gone, and assuming Matt Barkley will be the starter going forward, it seems unlikely they’ll win many more games at all this year, if any at all.
