For nearly the entire first half of their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, nothing was going right for the Chicago Bears. That all changed on the final play of the half, when Jay Cutler found Cameron Meredith on a 50-yard Hail Mary.

First of all — knock it down, Tampa. The last thing any defender should do on a Hail Mary is knock it straight up in the air.
Second, it’s amazing that the Bears head to the locker room down only a touchdown. Jay Cutler has thrown two interceptions, one of which was a pick-six (watch here) and lost a fumble. Jordan Howard has also coughed up a fumble.
All things considered, 17-10 at halftime doesn’t seem that bad.
