Dez Bryant regrets taking shots at Josh Norman after Thanksgiving game

Dez Bryant Josh Norman Washington Redskins Dallas Cowboys

Dez Bryant and the Dallas Cowboys eked out a big win over NFC East rival Washington on Thanksgiving Day. After the game, Bryant threw some serious shade Josh Norman’s way, saying the Redskins should “get their money back.”

It was an interesting rant, especially since Bryant didn’t necessarily have a huge game, finishing with just five catches for 72 yards and no touchdowns.

Not surprisingly, Norman fired back at Bryant, saying he didn’t compare to Odell Beckham Jr., among other things.

In the wake of all that noise, Bryant has changed his tone. On Monday, he admitted that he regrets what he said.

Bryant is known for losing his cool every now and again. It’s unclear why he took shots at Norman after their Thanksgiving Day matchup, but he definitely stirred the pot unnecessarily.

Thankfully it sounds like he got some clarity on the issue. But it will be interesting to see if this mini-feud ends up having some legs. The two players won’t match up again this year unless the Cowboys and Redskins end up matched up against one another in the playoffs.

If that does end up happening, don’t be surprised if we see some more fireworks between these two competitors.
