With their season on the line against the New Orleans Saints this upcoming Sunday, the Carolina Panthers look like they will be getting reigning NFL MVP Cam Newton back into the mix.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Newton returned to practice on Wednesday and is expected to start Sunday in New Orleans.

This means that Newton passed through the league’s concussion protocol after missing last week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
At 1-4 on the season, the defending NFC champions desparetely need a win. Getting Newton back on the field is the first step to accomplishing that feat.
