The Seattle Seahawks got back on track Sunday, defeating the San Francisco 49ers 37-18.
Though, it didn’t come without a scare. With the game already out of hand in the third quarter, Russell Wilson was sacked by Eli Harold. It’s a play that looked pretty darn ugly.

Harold was called for a horse-collar on the play, giving Seattle a first down. Unfortunately for the home team, Wilson had to exit after just a few plays.
He was then seen with his knee wrapped in a brace on the sideline.
Now comes this report from Albert Breer of Monday Morning Quarterback indicating that the initial belief is that Wilson suffered a sprained MCL to the left knee.
As I understand it, initial belief is that Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has a sprained MCL. More tests coming, obviously.

Remember, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback suffered a sprained ankle in his right foot back in Week 1.
While further tests will be needed here, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Wilson were to miss some time. The extent of a potential sprain will obviously dictate how long that might be.
Prior to exiting Sunday’s game, Wilson had not missed a single regular season snap to injury in his four-plus years in the NFL. It now looks like he could miss a game or two.
