Tickets for ‘Monday Night Football’ game in Mexico sell out

For those still hoping to buy a ticket for the Nov. 21 Monday Night Football game in Mexico, the game has reportedly sold out.

Commissioner Roger Goodell commented about the upcoming game between the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders that will take place at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

“Today’s sellout further confirms what a passionate fan base we have in Mexico,” the commissioner said, via NFL.com. “We look forward to experiencing the exciting atmosphere in Estadio Azteca when the Oakland Raiders meet the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football this November.”

Besides fan attendance, approximately 6,000 ticket holders from the Texans and Raiders will also be at the game.

ESPN and Televisa will reportedly be the game’s broadcasting partners.

Located south of Mexico City, Estadio Azteca houses approximately 104,000 seats and was built in 1966.
