Calvin Johnson who?
After spending seven seasons playing with Johnson and recording some absurd numbers, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has reportedly closed the “Megatron” chapter in his book.
This was Stafford’s response when asked how long it took to move on from Johnson after the receiver announced his retirement.
Matthew Stafford, when asked how long it took him to turn the page after Calvin's retirement: "Apparently, a lot quicker than you guys."

Yes. True fans of Johnson will likely have a hard time watching the Lions in action this September sans No. 81 dominating the field.
After a brilliant nine-year career in the NFL, the future Hall of Famer called it quits at the age of 30. Johnson ends his career as the Lions’ all-time leader in receiving yards (11,619) and touchdowns (83).
Stafford obviously contributed to Johnson’s success during the seven years the duo was paired together.
Without Megatron, Golden Tate will assume the team’s No. 1 spot. And according to the Lions’ depth chart, newly signed Marvin Jones will line up opposite Tate this fall.
Hopefully Jones will be up for the tall task of making Johnson’s vacancy seem less painful.
