Adam Jones has some delusions about what when down on Saturday night when Vontaze Burfict laid out Antonio Brown, causing a concussion.
According to Jones, Brown “flopped” on the play that could potentially keep him out of the divisional round as he goes through the NFL’s concussion protocol.
“Man, that (expletive) was (expletive) acting. He flopped. He needs a (expletive) Academy Award for that performance,” Jones said, via NFL.com.
Jones needs to take a breather. In fact, he needs to just stop talking.
Take a look at the play in question and tell me you think Brown was flopping.

Brown was knocked clean off his feet and then violently flung backwards because of the momentum of the hit. In no way, shape or form was he “flopping” as Jones suggests.
Heck, maybe Maxx Williams was also “flopping” when Burfict innocently blew him up a week before, too.
Look at this cheap shot from Vontaze Burfict last week on Maxx Williams. Good catch from ESPN Countdown Crew. https://t.co/YXZ3t9v9Q7

Clearly, Jones needs a lesson on what is and what isn’t a flop. Furthermore, he needs a lesson on when it’s appropriate to whine about officiating after being a huge reason his team lost another playoff game.
The Bengals are a train wreck, much like the unfortunate victims of Burfict’s cheap-shot ways.
