Very few details are available at this point, but Hardy’s arrest is concerning for a Panthers’ team that was looking to sign the defensive end to a long-term contract this offseason. Hardy recorded 15 sacks in a Pro Bowl campaign last year.
He’s yet another NFL player that has been involved in a domestic violence incident this offseason, joining another big-name player in the form of Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice.
