Zach Smith: Explosive new allegations surface about disgraced former OSU coach

On Friday evening, Brett McMurphy, who broke the Zach Smith story a couple weeks back and has been the leading force behind most of the breaking news on this front, shared more alarming details that have emerged concerning Smith and his behavior while coaching at Ohio State.

Writing for Stadium, McMurphy, citing unearthed documents and receipts, revealed Smith ordered thousands of dollars worth of “sex toys, male apparel and photography equipment and had the items delivered to him at Ohio State’s Woody Hayes Athletic Center in 2015.”

Furthermore, according to his ex-wife, Courtney Smith, Zach Smith took “multiple photos of his penis inside the Ohio State coaches’ offices, inside the White House when the Buckeyes visited in 2015 and also photographed himself in the coaches’ offices receiving oral sex and having sex with a OSU staffer.”

McMurphy wrote that the time stamp on the April 20 White House visit photo “shows Smith in his black suit he wore to the White House event. Another photo of Smith’s penis includes a White House bathroom towel featuring the Seal of the President of the United States.”

When McMurphy revealed this information to Smith’s lawyer, Brad Koffel, and asked for answers to his questions, he was allegedly threatened by Koffel, who told McMurphy to get a lawyer and to “tread very lightly” while denying the picture taken at the White House was Smith.

The Ohio State investigation into this matter remains ongoing, with head coach Urban Meyer remaining on paid leave. The school announced on Friday that it will conclude the investigation on Sunday and that the investigation’s findings will be released next week.

Meyer himself has acknowledged that he lied about having knowledge of Smith’s 2015 arrest for abusing his wife, but he has also claimed that he followed all the proper protocols after obtaining that knowledge originally.
