New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge exited Thursday’s game against the Texas Rangers in Arlington, Texas, after the fourth inning with right hip discomfort.
Judge appeared to grimace with some discomfort after striking out in his second at-bat in the second inning and was replaced by Oswaldo Cabrera in right field two innings later.
On Wednesday, Judge stayed in the game after appearing to land awkwardly on his right hand trying to steal third during the second inning. After his awkward headfirst slide, Judge got checked out by a trainer and continued playing.
After hitting an American League-record 62 homers last season to break the record held for 61 years by Roger Maris, Judge is hitting .261 with six homers and 14 RBI in 26 games this season.
