XFL Championship Game date, time and TV broadcast announced

The XFL has officially announced the date, time and television broadcast information for its inaugural XFL Championship Game after the regular season.

In a press released Thursday, the XFL announced that the game will be played at the University of Houston will host the XFL Championship Game on Sunday, April 26, 2020 starting at 3 p.m. ET and that the game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

The champions from the East and West divisions will compete for the first ever XFL championship.

Though only one weekend of games has taken place so far, it’s clear that a few teams have a significant leg up on the rest when it comes to getting to the XFL Championship Game in April.

Whether the league can continue to generate excitement and interest in the weeks to come remains to be seen. But the early returns have been positive, including some high-profile endorsements and lots of television interest.
