- Things have been pretty tense between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu as of late. The two have been jabbing back and forth at each other for weeks. Last Friday, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis informed McIntyre he’d be facing Fatu one-on-one this week. Fatu then took that opportunity to attack McIntyre until they had to be pulled apart. With the animosity between these two at a fever pitch, this week’s bout is sure to be a physical affair.
- The Wyatt Sicks continue to sit atop the tag team division as they successfully defended their Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits last week. However, after the match, we were treated to an unexpected confrontation courtesy of The MFT. The crowd was in a frenzy as the two factions came face to face in the middle of the ring. The prospects of these hard-hitting groups mixing it up in a feud has a ton of exciting possibilities. Will we see the next step in the budding rivalry this week?
- Damian Priest and Aleister Black fought all over the RAC Arena last week with their wild Last Man Standing match. Things took an unexpected turn, however, as just when Priest was looking to finish off his opponent, Zelina Vega made an appearance. Vega, who is Black’s wife, pleaded with Priest to grant mercy. This distracted Priest just enough for Black to recover and send him flying through a table. Is this the beginning of the real-life couple getting an on-screen run together? And will Priest be hell-bent on retaliation?
