Dominik Mysterio is reportedly set to return to WWE television as early as tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there has been significant internal discussion within the company regarding Mysterio’s presence at the Wells Fargo Center.
Mysterio has been sidelined since a shoulder injury sustained during a match against Andrade in late 2025, but the latest reports suggest his recovery has ended. The recovery process for Mysterio was initially expected to take between three and four weeks, which would have made him a candidate for a surprise entry at the Royal Rumble.
While he did not appear at the premium live event in Riyadh, the expectation is that he will now rejoin The Judgment Day to bolster the group’s numbers on the road to WrestleMania 42. His absence has left a noticeable gap in the faction’s dynamic as Finn Balor goes after CM Punk and his World Heavyweight Title, while Liv Morgan just won the Women’s Royal Rumble and will have to decide who to go after.
Morgan may challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Title to stay on Raw, or she could go to SmackDown to battle Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. There is another element to this question, which is the fact that Morgan eliminated Raquel Rodriguez in the women’s Royal Rumble Match. That will surely be addressed among the Judgment Day stablemates on this week’s Raw.
WWE creative has reportedly been waiting for Mysterio to be medically cleared before moving forward with storylines. Before his injury, Mysterio was operating as a dual champion, holding both the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the AAA Mega Championship.
