Former WWE Superstar Alicia Fox revealed she would love a comeback to the company that had shaped most of her adult life. After almost 2 decades with WWE, the former Divas Champion says she’s not done with wrestling yet — especially if it means helping the next generation.
In an interview with WrestleTalk, Fox shared that she’s feeling the pull to the WWE locker room again, especially with the new talent rising up. She said:
“Never say never as they say, right? I would love to, but why? Because of the younger girls who are there. … It gives me goosebumps thinking about meeting all the NXT kids and the Evolve kids. I related to them so deeply. If WWE ever wants me to come back, I would love to, just to be in that zone.”
Fox — whose real name is Victoria Elizabeth Crawford — signed with WWE in 2006 and debuted on the main roster in 2008. Over her 17-year career, she was a mainstay of the women’s division through multiple eras of the company, from the “Divas” era to the Women’s Revolution.
In 2010, she made history as the first and only African American woman to hold the Divas Championship, and she later won the 24/7 Title during the 2021 Royal Rumble.
Alicia Fox reflects on her past WWE tenure and Reigniting Her Drive

Looking back on her past career, Fox admitted she sometimes wonders if she could have pushed harder to get more in WWE.
“I wonder if a blind spot for me was me not really trying to get the championship. I always wonder if I needed to fight harder.
I think I was trying to be a good company girl. I think in different environments, it’s different, but in that time of my life when I had the Divas Title, I was so young, but I wish I had been more assertive.”
Those thoughts seem to have her motivated to make a comeback. After quietly leaving WWE in 2023, she wants to get back in touch with the company and its new women’s roster, and not just as a nostalgic return but as a mentor to the younger talent after coming. She wrestled on the independent circuit before signing with TNA Wrestling in early 2025, and her recent appearance in the NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s match in October 2025 was her first time competing in a WWE ring.
If she does come back to the main roster, it would be a full-circle moment for one of WWE’s most memorable female performers. It’s a chance to use her experience, confidence, and perspective on the new generation, she says gives her “goosebumps”.
And if she does step back into the ring, she’ll be part of a growing list of former Superstars who have returned to the WWE this year, Nikki Bella and AJ Lee, and others who helped shape the women’s division of their time.
