Could Tom Brady step into a WWE ring at WrestleMania 42? A wild new rumor makes it a likelihood at April’s mega event.
Over the last couple of weeks, an unexpected rivalry has emerged that wrestling fans did not have on their bingo card: Brady vs. the WWE roster. It all started during Super Bowl week when the New England Patriots legend was on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, and the WWE star suggested he could do well in Brady’s new flag football league.
The current Las Vegas Raiders minority owner responded by saying he couldn’t, then took a surprising dig at professional wrestling. “I love WWE, it’s very cute. But honestly, this is real football. This is real combat competition,” Brady said.
The moment has gotten notable blowback from many WWE performers asked about Brady’s comment. Yet, that wasn’t where it ended. During a training video featuring Brady and NFL pal Rob Gronkowski, the iconic quarterback surprisingly called Paul a “b****.” It made many football and wrestling fans wonder if the two had legitimate issues.
WWE creating Tom Brady merchandise

Well, it seems like it all may be setting up an encounter at WrestleMania 42 next month. According to Wrestle Votes Radio, logos for merchandise and branding for Brady are being worked on within some WWE departments, with names like “T-Bone” and “The Untouchable Tom Brady” under consideration.
The company would not be doing that unless Brady was likely to be appearing on WWE TV soon, and they were planning to make money on merchandise from the moment it creates. With this year’s WrestleMania taking place in the home stadium of the team he co-owns, the Raiders, it makes a ton of sense for him to be at the event.
Furthermore, it could be another opportunity for Brady to promote his flag football league to a new set of fans.
