Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a man in demand ahead of one of the biggest wrestling events in recent memory. The former WWE Champion has officially addressed the rumors surrounding his potential involvement in WrestleMania 43, the historic 2027 event set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During a recent appearance on the Raffi Talks podcast, the WWE icon and TKO board member expressed his enthusiasm for the landmark show, which will mark the first time WrestleMania has been held outside of North America.

While Johnson stopped short of an official match confirmation, his comments regarding ongoing negotiations were notably optimistic.

“I’m excited for the brand of WrestleMania, I’m excited for the Kingdom because that is a big show… I can’t wait. In terms of the conversations I’ve been having, it’s all good. It will always be good,” The Rock stated.

The financial stakes for this appearance are reportedly unprecedented. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Saudi organizers are heavily courting Johnson for a main-event role, with reports suggesting he would receive “the largest offer ever made for someone to do a pro wrestling show.”

This would indicate the payday could be “multiple times” higher than any previous record in the industry. The Rock has not competed in a WWE ring since his high-profile tag team victory alongside Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL in April 2024.

As a TKO board member, his participation would carry significant weight for WWE’s global strategy, particularly as the company prepares for the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh on January 31.  With WrestleMania 43 officially confirmed as part of the 2027 Riyadh Season, the potential for a “Final Boss” return on the international stage remains the most discussed topic in the industry.

WWE is also planning to hold three shows in Saudi Arabia this year, after holding only one last year.
