Then everything was derailed in October when he suffered a serious shoulder injury in another big victory, this time over WWE champ Cody Rhodes. Beyond just sidelining him during a major hot streak, the injury seemingly took him out of a planned WrestleMania 42 Night 2 main event clash with former Shield brother Reigns. However, there still may be hope of a return in time for ‘Mania.
