Fans have a lot to be excited about this week as WWE presents another edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Emanating from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, the card is stacked with title matches, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
This Saturday’s card features a marquee clash between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship. There will also be a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned as CM Punk takes on Jey Uso for the vacant title.
Read on below for some bold Saturday Night’s Main Event predictions.
Can Dominik Mysterio escape once again with his title intact?

‘Dirty Dom’ called in a favor this past Monday, as he enlisted the aid of El Grande Americano and his minions to cause a no-contest in the number-one contender’s bout between Rusev and Penta. His plan to eliminate both contenders backfired, however, as now he’ll face them both in a triple threat with the title on the line.
As great as Mysterio’s run with the title has been, it may be time to finally put it on some fresh blood. I can’t think of anyone better to carry the title right now than Penta. He’s been incredibly popular and super reliable all year. A chaotic triple threat protects all involved and provides the perfect opportunity to give Penta a well-deserved run.
- Prediction: Penta
Will Jade Cargill’s attitude change lead to singles gold?

Jade Cargill made her return to SmackDown last week to come to the aid of Tiffany Stratton and run off Giulia and Kiana James. Cargill then shocked everyone by attacking Stratton, making her a heel and signaling a huge change in direction for the superstar.
Stratton has been a dominant champion, but I believe her time for this reign is up. Cargill has been pegged to win the title for quite some time and having her do it as a freshly minted heel can open up a world of opportunities. This includes a potential showdown with former partner Bianca Belair down the line that will be hard for WWE to resist.
- Prediction: Cargill
Can Drew McIntyre finally climb back to the top of the mountain?

This feud has been a physical affair for weeks now. McIntyre has taken any opportunity he could to get his hands on the champion, and Rhodes, to his credit, has not backed down. This match will not be for the faint of heart.
‘The Scottish Psychopath’ has been hungry to regain a world championship. His hard-hitting matches and fantastic character work make him a very worthy candidate to regain the top spot. Alas, I just don’t think it’s in the cards right now, and ‘The American Nightmare’ will likely get another high-profile defense under his belt.
- Prediction: Rhodes
Who will walk away with the vacant World Heavyweight Championship?

Seth Rollins vacating the World Heavyweight Championship after being attacked by his own group, The Vision, has left a huge hole to fill atop the Red Brand. Luckily, there are two huge names ready to fill it as CM Punk and ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso will clash to decide the new champion.
Punk got a small taste of the title at SummerSlam, but it was quickly snatched away. This Saturday, I firmly believe he’ll get the whole meal. Punk is the right man to plug in at the top and would be a ready-made foil for Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. His tremendous run since his return warrants a chance to hold the top prize, and the time is now.
- Prediction: Punk
